In maroon cloth with gilt titles on spine and initials "C.K" in gilt on front. 330 pages plus 2-page publisher's list. Spine is badly damaged and patchy also coming away from back board, 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch piece missing, tear, bruised bottom and with 1/8 inch gone at top of spines extremities. Spine is also cocked, otherwise tight, clean and unmarked internally. Containing 100 illustrations by Linley Sambourne.
