Aleksei Gubarev b.1931
Graduated from Air Force Academy, 1961; Candidate of technical sciences degree, 1982; Major General of Soviet Navy; was selected as cosmonaut on 08.01.1963 (TsPK-2); OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 1/63 - 21.02.1965; later General Director Shchelkovavtotrans Association, Moscow. Commander of Soyuz 17 & Soyuz 28 Retired in 1981
